How long does one second last? I always think that “Time” is just only a concept or feeling. Sometimes when you are busy, you will feel that time runs very fast and sometimes when you are bored, you will feel that time runs very slow. In common, people will think that “one second” is just only a very short period of time but in photography, we seldom use “one second” to shoot our photo, since it is too long for the camera.

Nowadays, the rhythm of life in most of the cities is too fast and people won’t spend a second to observe some little stuffs in their daily life. There may be nothing special but if you try to use “one second” to look around in your daily life, you will find a lot of things in “one second”!

In this series of photos, I tried to use 1/60 second shutter and shot 60 times in each scene, and merged them with Photoshop. So that every photo is only “one second”!
