《屾：當代香港攝影》 是次展覽名為「Twin Peaks」，中文名字《屾》，據《康熙字典》：「屾」 Twin Peaks: Contemporary Hong Kong Photography The Chinese title of this exhibition ‘屾’ is named after its English title ‘Twin Peaks’. According to the Kangxi Dictionary, ‘屾’ is pronounced as ‘san1’ in Cantonese, meaning ‘two mountains’. In this exhibition, two works each by eight different creative units are showcased. The two pieces chosen are dissimilar in theme, nature or form so that the audience can discover different angles to appreciate and experience the works of Hong Kong contemporary photographers, especially those with creative continuity. We also hope that the audience can explore the photographers’ dialectical process in their creative approach from different perspectives.
