作品題目取自中國古代詩歌《擊壤歌》最後一句。華夏文化的政治理想,曾經在香港曇花一現,而當時的人卻稱之為政治冷感。作品所用符號來自香港的街道風景及清朝康熙年間一部著名畫譜《芥子園畫傳》。


The original Chinese work title comes from the last sentence of an ancient Chinese poem 擊壤歌 (Song of Peasants in the Time of Yaou). The political ideal of Chinese culture, was once realizing in Hong Kong, but people called it Political Apathy back then. The symbols used in the artwork are from streetscape of Hong Kong and Manual of the Mustard Seed Garden, a printed manual of Chinese painting compiled during the early-Qing Dynasty.
